The traffic is …
The traffic is enabled once you plug in your external cig power cable. The power cable is also your traffic antenna. If traffic info is available in your area, then a ‘car’ icon will appear in the top left corner with the number of minutes of delay you can expect. So note traffic info is only available in some areas and mainly reports on major freeways, not the small streets.

The traffic seem to …
The traffic seem to sometimes be accurate and sometimes questionable. I was in LA last week and it told me a 2 min highway delay which was very accurate and the warning went away once I past the scene of the accident. There has been a few times where it showed some delay but saw nothing. I don’t think it’s bogus reporting but a matter of the source signal updating the information quickly.

I just got one of these and I like it. I couldn’t help thinking, though, as I viewed this clip, that it probably would have been safer if you weren’t watching the GPS, shooting video, and fooling with your phone … all while driving down the interstate. But, that’s just a nitpick and my opinion.
