I don’t actually want a thing that lets you make a site. I want to know where you can register a free domain name without paying for it. What I mean is, I don’t want monthly payments. Please help!!

there is pratically no way to get a .com or .net domain name free unless they have a special at a domain registrar site.
But you can get a domain for free.

I think you have made mistaken web hosting for domain. To buy domain names you don’t pay monthly, you pay yearly.

Today, no web site offers free .com domain names (unless you buy web hosting plan). But you can get cheapest domain names without paying huge amount for web hosting plan. If you buy a domain then you are the owner of it. But in case of free domains, the web hosting company might be the owner. So stay away from those offering free domains.
