How can I get a free domain name with no strings attached.?

Where can I find a website to let me get a free domain name. I don’t want to have to complete a trial offer or sign up for anything other than the web service. If no such thing exists, just give me a list of free website creators without a domain name.

    No such thing exists.

    After all, WHY would any one give you anything that actually cost them something other than philanthropists?

    Download a free website creator program like NVU or Kompozer and you don’t have to be tied to a particular website.

    No such thing exist for top level, but there are .co.nr and .tk names.

    Also if you just want free hosting, try freehostia.com. It’s the best I’ve used and you don’t need a domain name to code a website there. Don’t use freewebs they suck.

    You can get an absolutely free domain, something like http://www.you.co.cc at http://domainzero.co.cc with complete DNS support.
    Can also be used to create custom emails like you@you.co.cc
