Streaming Movies Between Computers in Windows 7
Windows 7 has available features to stream movie files, such as .mp4, .avi, .mpeg, etc, to other Windows 7 computers in your Homegroup or network.
Be sure all the movie files you wish to stream are located in a shared folder. Your “My Videos” should be shared by default in Windows 7.
All the configuration is done on the computer(s) that are hosting the movies you wish to stream. You allow media to be streamed from the host computer, and can allow or block access to video by computer or other device.
Go to Start, Control Panel, Network and Internet, Change Homegroup Settings. Click to check the box for “Stream my pictures, music, and videos to all devices on my network.
Click “Save changes.”
If you wish to “Allow” or “Block” access to specific computers or devices, click “Choose media streaming options…” Then, select the specific device or computer, and choose “Allowed” or “Blocked” from the drop down list.
When you are finished click “OK” and then “Save Changes” on the “Change homegroup settings” screen.
You can also set up media streaming in Windows Media Player 12 in Windows 7. This way you can still stream movies even if you do not have a homegroup configured.
Open Windows Media Player by going to Start, All Programs, Windows Media Player.
With Windows Media Player open, you’ll need to be in Library view. To Switch to Library view, click the icon at the top right.
In Library view, click “Stream” at the top and select “Automatically allow devices to play my media….”
To allow or block certain devices from accessing the streamed videos, click on “Stream” again and choose “More Streaming options…..” from the drop down list.
Select the specific device or computer, and choose “Allowed” or “Blocked” from the drop down list. Click “OK” when finished.
To access the video directly from Windows Media Player, the movies need to be added to one of the default Libraries, such as Video or Recorded TV.

What is the best free photo editing software?
I am really getting into photo editing and I was wondering what is the best free software for editing photos. I have a 2010 Macbook Pro. I am currently using iphoto but it doesn’t seem to do very advanced stuff. I wanted to try things like making a person look skinnier and making their breasts bigger, and cool stuff like that. Is that even possible on free softwares? I don’t want a free trial, I want a free software.

Photoshop is the market leader, and while it is very pricey, there is a free online version. The big advantage is that in using Adobe’s free web-based version, you are mastering skills to use with the major editor in the marketplace.
Serif offers it’s PhotoPlus software free – not the current version, but a very good editor (they hope you will upgrade to a paid version eventually), and it is compatible with Photoshop Filters.
