Traffic can be broken down into two big groups: traffic resulting from push marketing such as emailing, traffic exchanges, active advertising and so on, and then traffic, resulting from pull marketing, which is rather the RSS based traffic, coming in through feeds, social bookmarking networks and obviously also through search engines.

It’s difficult to say what is more efficient: both have their merits and you can succeed with each of them…but best you reach your goals using both. Missing out on either one is like leaving money on the table.

Authority equals credibility and credibility is what triggers sales, over and over again. There are different ways of building that authority. A popular example is your feed-back record on eBay which often makes the whole difference.

Another and more general form of authority is built through publishing, i.e. writing a blog for example. It has to do with quality content creation within a context or niche. Other content sites have the same purpose and the idea is that you build a solid track record of published knowledge which in its turn will inspire confidence and build credibility.

Authority is ultimately what sells, or, selling a product is one thing, selling yourself is another: if your authority is well established, you sell, no mater what and with no limit.

Synergy refers to the fact, that we cannot do it all by ourselves and that we are all part of a market and a community within that market. The success of the community, the synergies created by community action triggers higher individual performance, or rather: makes individual performance possible.
